Troubleshooting

Support is currently only available by email for registered users only, although we will still do our best to reply to trial users, time permitting. Otherwise MovieSlider would cost a lot more! If your institution requires specialized onsite/phone support or customization, like watermarking your movies with your school logo as well, please email us for more info.

We have a compilation of some commonly encountered issues below, as well as the recommended steps to prevent reoccurance. Please go through these and countercheck before emailing us.

Also note that if you are reading this via Apple Help, there may be an updated version on our website.

Your slide folder contains other kinds of media that MovieSlider cannot use in this current version. Your slide folder should only contain JPEG, GIF or PNG slides, and they must be named: Slide01.jpg, Slide02.jpg... The exception is when you have Microsoft PowerPoint exported slides. MovieSlider will recognize this and order them accordingly.

QuickTime unable to add a text track Either no link was created, or your QuickTime movie was closed before exporting could finish.

My slides are showing up in the wrong order. Inherent issue with how files are ordered in a computer. Try to rename your slides slide_name01.jpg, slide_name02.jpg, etc
